Meet Dr. McComb

Dr. McComb is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial
Surgeons and a fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. He brings
with him valuable knowledge and experience that he is eager to share with the West Michigan

Dr. McComb was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. He
received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Michigan in 2010. During that time, he developed an interest in dentistry and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery in Ann Arbor, Michigan as well. While in dental school, he was drawn to the specialty of oral surgery and identified it as a field in which he could make a profound impact for his patients over the coming

He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center and Hines Veterans
Administration Hospital in Maywood, Illinois – a level one trauma center in the Chicago metro area. His comprehensive training included management of facial trauma, pathology, skeletal deformities and TMJ disorders. He also gained extensive training in anesthesia techniques and takes pride in his ability to deliver safe and effective treatment for his patients.

He has a special interest in trauma, dentoalveolar, complex bone grafting for pre-prosthetic surgery, and implantology. Dr. McComb believes good communication and teamwork between providers is paramount to the success of treatment. He continues to stay current on the advancements in his specialty and is excited to join a practice that embraces the latest technology in order to enhance the safety and efficacy of care. Dr. McComb is excited to be back in Michigan and looks forward to providing specialized care for the great people in this community. He comes to West Michigan after practicing in Chicago for the last two years. He and his wife, Maelee, are glad to be closer to family and friends and plan to take advantage of the many fun activities and destinations offered by America’s Third Coast.
